I recently collaborated with Khambatta Dance Company (KDC) and photographer Marcia Davis on a stunning coffee table book: Iconic. A Dance View of South Lake Union. It was an absolute labor of love. The book features Davis’ amazing shots of the KDC dancers at different iconic South Lake Union (Seattle, Wa) landmarks and artworks. I was so honored to be a part of an absolute labor of love.

2017 flew by, literally. 2018 is going to be huge for me with the Special Olympics summer games, hosted in Seattle. I am already in full swing design-mode. I have never worked so much in my life on something so incredibly fulfilling. A few weeks ago, we went on a scouting trip to take measurements for signage at all event locations. I climbed to the very top of the high dive and looked down. It made me dizzy to be that high up, I cannot believe people actually DIVE off this platform! As I looked out over the pool, I realized that, had I not got the job working with the summer games, I probably never would have climbed to the top of a high dive. Why would I? So I have spent some time reflecting on this and all the opportunities given to me these last few years. I am so honored and blessed to be where I am today. And there are so many to thank. I am forever indebted. I hope 2018 takes you to high places as well. Take a moment to reflect. Time is very fleeting. Take care.
