11 days. 15,000 volunteers. 4,000 athletes & coaches. 7,409 medals & ribbons awarded. MILLIONS of smiles & hugs.
I was humbly honored to be chosen as the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games, Seattle official Graphic Designer. By the end of the games, I calculated over 1300 hours of design work and 1500 pieces created. Our goal was to ensure that Seattle was covered in purple and our signature “swirl”—and we succeeded! The toughest job of my life was the most fulfilling job I have ever done, those athletes came to win and INSPIRE.
Truly an incredible honor.

Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association threw another EPIC Destination Delridge celebration! I really adore what they do for the community with their efforts in art and nature. This year, I sponsored a table and invited some of my favorite people. We pretty much took over the photo booth and the dance floor. So fun!
When I was hired on to work with FareStart this year, I was incredibly honored. I had a reason to try all their eateries and restaurants and also work with an amazing group of people. The Great Food, Better Lives Gala Auction was my biggest event to date! Nearly 600 guests gathered at the Washington State Convention Center and almost $2 million was raised! I volunteered my time for the evening and was in awe at how efficient everything ran. I was a “table captain concierge” which was a blast! My job was to make the guests at my tables happy, help them have a great time. As always, I obliged! The event was a huge success and they asked me to help with the 2018 event, I am already in full swing and loving the creative freedom they give me! I am also working on their end of the year campaign and a few other items. Cannot wait to try their newest restaurant Maslow’s.
I just got the biggest job of my life! I am the official Graphic Designer for the Special Olympics USA Games, hosted in Seattle, 2018! What a freaking honor! I will be busy for the next year, but it will be totally worth it. Last week, they had the kick-off party. Along with hobnobbing with some medal wearing Special Olympic athletes, there were a few Sounders and Seahawks athletes there as well. I met former Seahawks player Marcus Trufant— and we had the same shoes…great minds think alike! I am so ready for this life changing journey. I am incredibly grateful all the hard work finally payed off and I will not take it for granted.
